“With Great Blessing Comes Great Responsibility”
Yes, I know the quote is kind of similar from what uncle Ben said in Spiderman, and neither will I deny the fact that I am a Spiderman fan, hence the background I used above
That said, that line is so true and very relevant to us. Have you ever saw someone posting some pictures of their vacation or maybe a food while dining out in a fancy restaurant and then a caption saying” Feeling Blessed”? There’s totally nothing wrong with that but the thing is, blessings are meant to be share with others and you must not keep it for yourself.
God enriches us financially. He gives us material blessings so that we can invest in his kingdom. God doesn’t begrudge what he has given us. But with his blessing comes an assignment. Greater financial capacity should lead not only to an increase in our standard of living but in our standard of giving as well. You may say, “Well, I’m not really that wealthy yet.” But then I have to ask you, “Based on what you’re doing with what God has given you so far, if you were God, would you give you more money?”
Everybody gives their first and their best to something. What does yours go to? Your lifestyle? Your savings? Give your first and your best to God.
The greater the blessing, the more we must take time to ask God If what is his purpose for giving us these things as we are not worthy of it.
